I have been knitting for years and have most of the knitting books out there. The book is pretty as far as the pictures, but the pattern directions are a little different than most books. It seems to me the author assumes you know what she meant when she wrote the pattern... I think some of the patterns are unrealistic...gloves that are like lobster claws, no child will keep those on very long. Of course this is just my opinion but if a mitten or glove gets in the way, kids wont wear them.
