Engrossing, captivating and heartwrenching. I highly recommend Web of Freedom. Kelvin Christopher James brings the world of 19th century slavery alive and captured my imagination from the first page. The characters are complex, intriguing and believable and descriptions are consistently rich and vivid. Web of Freedom is a page-turner, an immensely readable, intricate story of adventure, mystery, suspense, jealousy, revenge, longing, wisdom and love. I could not put this book down and did not want it to end!
