Eugene Mirman has a different kind of humor. He rarely, if ever, steps into gross out or goes in detailed sex talk like some comedians. His writing style does not try to impress, so it seems like its more of conversation with one of your weirder friends. It's written as a self-help book broken up into the different times/situations you may encounter and makes fun of them. I was laughing throughout the whole book, unlike some of the other stand-up comedian written books out there. If you are looking for a gift for your teenage son that doesn't read, this should change his mind.
