One of the great Churchill biographers Martin Gilbert in this small volume presents a kind of summary of major principles about his war leadership. Churchill's tremendous capacity for studying and knowing a subject, his vision, his determination in the face of great odds, his refusal to say anything but defiance to defeat, his tremendous power of inspirational speech, his ability to lead against opposition but nonetheless at times let himself be overruled when all advisors cautioned a course other than that he recommended, his great love of the British people and his faith in them- these are among the qualities Gilbert writes so convincingly about in this highly enjoyable and valuable work.

The book was very interesting, but for only 66 pages, it is a very pricey ebook.
