This is an excellent guide to practicing yoga as a preventive for osteoporosis as well as when one is already osteoporotic (or osteopenic). It is very informative, backed by science, and well explained. I have been practicing yoga for many years but realized, through this book, that I had to add and modify positions to accommodate my condition. Having read many yoga books in the past, I still learned much from this particular book.

This book is very well written and yoga explained. It will take time to find out the results, but is easy to understand.

Very little actual yoga so expect to buy another book with actual yoga poses to help strengthen your bones.
