Engrossing story, characters were unique and fully developed. Good plot. The ending was gracefully foretold. I'd be happy to read more by this author.

Jane Bradley's handling of the horrific subject of those who have gone missing is sensitive, real, and delicately balanced. The intelligence with which she managed to weave the nuances of southern culture in and out of the goodness and the evil of the characters was with easy brilliance. Her characters are whole in description. Everything connects so smoothly. After reading this book, I didn't feel that I had been entertained by a story with sick sensationalism. It was actually educational. There were two very high profile cases of missing girls in my area. Reading Jane's book helped me to get closer to understanding the tremendous pain the families go through, and the loving dedication of those who reach out to find the missing. Thank you Jane Bradley. Your writing is absolutely wonderful.
