In a futuristic city, augmented reality Duels are all the rage. Duelists, using devices called D-Gazers, can interact with their environment and their opponents as never before. With more awesome monsters and unbelievable cards, the future of Yu-Gi-Oh! starts right here!

No one loves Dueling more than Yuma Tsukumo, but unfortunately for him, no one is worse at it!

As a big time Yugioh fan I was so excited when I heard the Zexal Manga was to be released in English. I like the fact that the plot line varies from the Anime version. The book seems to be moving at a faster pace than the anime, since several characters that are introduced later on in the anime have already made an appearance. I am a little iffy on the art though. Yuma’s face looks off to me and Astral’s anatomy is distorted in many panels. The artist also forgets to draw the characters accessories, such as astrals gem stones, in many panels. Other than those nitpicky things I enjoyed the Manga. If you are a Zexal fan it’s definitely worth the read.
