Being in her early twenties and living in limbo, Harriet Mills set out to do something she swore throughout her creative writing degree that she would never do—write a novel. It may sound strange considering her degree choice, yet fiction was never her chosen form, instead she thought a career in journalism would be the path that she would take after studies. This was until she discovered more about life, about people and about stories. Working in a local village store in the place she grew up, Harriet’s mind acted like a sponge when she discovered that an interesting read would be one about life itself.
