Eileen P. Duggan is a freelance journalist, writer and editor based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Her second novel, 'April Fools Daily,' was published Oct. 1, 2021. April Fools Daily chronicles the life of a shy rock singer as she struggles to succeed in life, career and love over the obstacle of her less-than-stunning looks. The saga traces the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s world of the St. Louis music scene from the vantage point of a fan and aspiring musician. Duggan won First Place in the 2010 Missouri Professional Communicators Communications Contest—Writing for the Web, Feature Article (read it free at www.stlbeacon.org/content/view/8199/227/). She also won an Honorable Mention for her essay, 'The Dead Lady's Stuff.' in the 78th Annual (2009) Writer's Digest Writing Competition.
