Patriot Call of Ron Paul
Government never produces anything. Its only option would be to steal it from someone. Such governance would produce a system of big money and lobbyists, which America has.

Undermine the concept of rights and you destroy the basic premises underpinning society: private property, free choices, contracts, and sound money. Those are Ron Paul’s ideas to which I subscribe wholeheartedly.

I fear for America. Most Americans believe that the people have a right to food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and jobs. This is misguided. It results from a misunderstanding of what freedom is all about.

Freedom from want can only be achieved by force at the sacrifice of liberty. Ask the Soviets how that worked out.Compromise is not good if you are compromising basic values—especially if it’s just to get re-elected. You might as well be compromising with the Devil. Compromise with liberals and progressives is an admission that government planning is better than private planning. That’s why we have elections every two, six, and four years in America—to clean out the dead wood, those who have been in Washington so long that they can see nothing wrong with it. Ron Paul is one of the few exceptions to the rule for he is known for courageously standing up to corrupt politicians and he knows how to simply say “no.”

The personal income tax was harmless enough at first. It started at one percent and applied only to the rich. But look at the size of the tax code today. It is 20,000 pages of Greek to most people—even to most members of Congress.

Ron Paul knows that even IRS agents cannot agree on the code’s interpretation. It started as a one-percent tax. A one percent initial concession has been turned into a tax code that can steal more than sixty percent of your income.Payroll taxes are a huge burden to the poor. The IRS is looting everyone, crushing us all under the financial strain.

“All political energy for at least 100 years,” said Congressman Paul, “has been directed toward increasing government power to determine who will receive the benefits. The result has been crumbs to the poor and an attack on the middle class, while Wall Street and the banks continue to benefit from the bailouts.”

Dr.Paul suggests that only a clear understanding and protection of individual liberty can rescue us from the pending economic and political disaster.Fear is continually being manufactured by our government and its leaders by invoking a current Hitler about to attack us.It could have been Saddam Hussein, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Taliban, the communists, al Qaeda, or whoever. This fear is necessary to get the public’s support to fight unnecessary wars and support the military-industrial complex.

James Madison said it best: “War is the most dreaded enemy of liberty.”
