Plutarch's Lives
PLUTARCH'S LIVES contains the fifty lives of famous Greeks and Romans written by first century Greek historian and biographer Plutarch. The surviving Lives contain twenty-three pairs of biographies, each pair consisting of one Greek and one Roman, as well as four unpaired, single lives. Plutarch arranged the Lives in this fashion to highlight the morals and failings of his famous subjects. This ebook is DRM and includes an active table of contents for easy navigation.

About the Author

Plutarch (c. 46 – 120 AD) was a Greek-born Roman citizen who was an historian, biographer, essayist, and Middle Platonist known primarily for his LIVES and MORALS. He was born to a prominent family in Chaeronea, Boeotia, a town about twenty miles east of Delphi.
