Lawrence Newman is the President of Silver Millennium Publications, Inc. and author of numerous books, including three about his favorite subject—the Apostle Islands, which are located off Wisconsin’s northern shore in western Lake Superior. He has also written books on other subjects, including quote compilations. In his prior life he was the Chief Financial Officer for Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. before he retired in 2001, after eighteen years with that company.
