About the Author

David Yager recieved his M.P.H. master of public health degree from San Jose State University in a program that was based on the U.C. Berkeley Public Health Program and taught by professors educated at U.C. Berkeley. There he did an internship with an M.D. from Stanford Medical School, conducting research at San Jose Hospital. He graduated with highest honors, earning a 3.96 grade point average. His bachelor's degree he received from U.C. Davis in food science and agriculture. At U.C. Davis he was a member of the Holistic Health club led by Dr. Jim Polidora. After taking a class on mind/body medicine from Dr. Polidora he became very interested in holistic health and the effect that a natural diet had on the mind/body. After completing his studies he worked at a holistic health center giving consultations on diet, vitamin supplements and herbs, in addition he administered shiatsu and swedish massage bodywork sessions.
