About the Author

Mike Feder has been a radio personality and host for almost 35 years, first on WBAI and WEVD in New York City, and now nationally on Sirius XM and PRN.FM radio. He has performed his autobiographical stories in colleges, theaters and nightclubs. His stories and cultural and political essays have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Harper�s magazine, Alternet and the Huffington Post. He is the author of New York Son and The Talking Cure.

Mike has been a welfare worker and a probation officer, manager of a non-commercial radio station, paralegal, book abridger and editor. He owned and managed a used, old and rare bookstore in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
