About the Author

Jemima Parry-Jones MBE, owner and director of the National Birds of Prey Centre in Gloucesterhire, has kept diurnal and nocturnal raptors throughout her life. She is the Taxonomic Advisory Group Chair for Falconiformes and Strigiformes, and currently International Director of the Raptor Research Foundation Inc. She advises on management of all raptors in affiliated zoos all over the world, and has written management guidelines for both owls and diurnal raptors.
