Each morning Tyler would sit in his little rocking chair, and I on the floorin front of him with his stiff feet and legs in my hands, as I gently put on his socks. Then we would begin the painful process of getting his legs and feet positioned for the braces. Day after day, as I fastened his braces, I would squeeze his knees together and kiss both of his legs.
