About Our Sellers

Our Sellers are independent booksellers and small businesses that have been approved by Barnes & Noble.com. They provide our customers with new, used, out-of-print books, rare, and collectible books. They become Authorized Sellers by going through an application and approval process. To remain an Authorized Seller, each seller must conform to a set of performance guidelines established by Barnes & Noble.com.

The books offered by these sellers are sold by, and shipped by, the sellers themselves. Barnes & Noble.com does not take possession of sellers' books; we facilitate the transaction between the sellers and our customers
