Overview

Trading the Forex Market can be exciting, adventurous, and financially rewarding. It can also be disastrous for those who are unprepared for its rhythms and movements.

Now, Jared F. Martinez, one of the foremost experts in currency trading, draws upon his vast knowledge and experience to deliver 10 key practices for trading in Forex. The 10 Essentials of Forex Trading shows you how to use charting methods to effectively relate market movements to trading patterns-and turn those patterns into profit.

No matter your level of trading experience, you can develop the skills you need to become a consistently successful foreign currency trader-from using the right trading tools and balancing equity management to trading in buy and sell zones and identifying trends and trendlines. You'll discover what drives the Forex market and how to navigate the three stages of Forex trading: acquiring new trading rules, controlling disciplined thought, and implementing disciplined action.

Martinez also prepares you to:

  • Understand the financial game of support and resistance between Bulls & Bears
  • Use Japanese Candlesticks to discern the sign language of the market
  • Create an entry strategy and a consistent exit strategy
  • Use Fibonacci as part of your trading approach
  • Forecast sideways movement in the market-and trade it

Martinez shows you how to put it all together to execute a successful trade by finding convergence and analyzing the market on multiple timeframes. You'll also learn how to gain control over your emotions-a vital part of trading on Forex-and eliminate bad habits that can prevent you from becoming a confident, competent, and profitable trader.

To trade the Forex market, you must come to the trading table prepared. The 10 Essentials of Forex Trading arms you with the tools to develop a solid personal trading constitution and reap the financial outcome you desire.

Fantastic Read And The Perfect Starter Book!

After reading some other reviews on various FOREX books I decided that I had to write a review on this book, as readers of some other books felt that the material was promotional, confusing, or just too basic and simple.

This is the perfect book to start your FOREX endeavor as it does just as good a job explaining trading trends, methodologies, and money management as it does explaining how your personality and outlook play an important roll in FOREX trading and any other venture in life.

After reading my first FOREX book (and stopping halfway through), I was lucky enough to find this book. From the very first chapter I knew that it was different and as I read I was amazed at how Martinez made such seemingly complex concepts easy and even fun to understand.

The first FOREX book I read confused me when explaining candlesticks and buy/sell indicators. After reading this book I was excited to go to my demo account (a must for beginners) and actually feel confident predicting upward and downward trends as well accurately using trendlines to analyze market movement. (That sentence would have sounded like a foreign language before reading this book!) Though extremely detailed, the concepts taught are simplified and then repeated in various examples and explanations which aided in retention of the material.

This book not only gives you technical ability, but introduces the concepts of emotional control, conscious/unconscious competency and controlling your bad habits so they will not affect your trading. I honestly feel very confident after reading this book, but more importantly I feel motivated to keep learning as much as I can. Had I stopped after the first book I'm not sure if I would have continued my FOREX pursuit.

This was a great read for me personally and A MUST READ FOR ANYONE INVOLVED IN THE FOREX MARKET!
