Yes, we have vaccines that have been developed at breakneck speed to help us deal with this pandemic, but unfortunately, many of these vaccines have come too late for a lot of vulnerable people.
It didn't matter whether you were highly educated or not. It didn't matter whether you were rich or poor. It didn't matter whether you lived in a well-developed country or a lesser developed country.
Anyone who claims that they saw all this coming is either smoking something strong or just being plain dishonest. This pandemic caught us all flat-footed and unprepared. That notwithstanding, and as the old saying goes, behind every problem that we encounter, if we look closely enough there is a powerful lesson to benefit from.
