I've loved animals my whole life and have been lucky enough in my adulthood to be able to rescue them! I love this book because you read other rescue stories and realize how important animals are to a lot of people. The only negative - the book should be 1,000 Heartwarming Stories - I wanted the book to last longer !

I loved all the stories in this book but I felt that the stories were too short! I guess I was expecting to be more like the "Chicken Soup" stories.

These stories really make you say awwww!!! They are a little short though. 3.00 is a little much.

The Animal Rescue Site is one of several charitable websites run by GreaterGood Network. For every logged visit to the page, advertisers contribute food for animals in shelters. "100 Heartwarming Stories..." is a collection of visitor submissions of brief stories and pictures of adopted pets. Like the daily "clicks" and purchases from the site, proceeds from this e-book fund more food for pets awaiting a home of their own.
All of these stories are great, sometimes not only for the animals themselves but for the people they've helped in turn.
(a small disclaimer -- one of my own submissions is included in the e-book.)

I love that there are people in this world who still go out of there way to help the helpless. And i am so glad they share with the rest of us!
