Traveling is fantastic—we don’t deny it. But sometimes when you’re in another country, stuff happens. A thieving kid lifts your wallet, a cab driver nearly kills you, a waiter charges you $25 for a bottle of water. You feel powerless without the ability to do what you really want to do—curse them out.

And what’s the use of knowing the right insult at the right time if you can’t pronounce it correctly? The only thing you’ll succeed in doing is looking like some lame tourist. But you don’t have to look like an idiot anymore. Here are 100 of the best insults and curses in Italian, complete with an audio track featuring 25 curses and insults for your listening pleasure.

So the next time a Prada saleswoman implies that you’re fat or a text-crazy teenager knocks the gelato right out of your hand, you’ll know precisely how to say Vaffanculo!

Picked it up ahead of a little trip to Italy, to see if there might be anything practical in it. There is, sort of, but mostly it's just fun. The recordings are hilarious. Took me a while to figure out that you have to pull the little tab out before the battery will connect and you can use the audio.

My 21 year old son loved it! He's been to Italy, but doesn't speak the language. It was a great just-for-fun gift.
