"Emmanuel does a marvelous job of conveying not only the competition between the athletes but the less than ideal game conditions, the spirit of the marching bands and, in particular, the loyalty of classmates and family that go into making this a special competition."

The 100 Yard War by Greg Emmanuel

'' We don't spend a dime in Michigan!' These are the words of an Ohio State band member. This is what you will get when you read The 100 Yard War by Greg Emmanuel. This book will take you through the 'Glory Days' of Woody and Bo through the years all the way to Jim Tressel and Lloyd Carr. This book will tell what both sides of the rivalry thinks about the other. It also tells about the years scores . Check out crazy stories about crazy fans tail-gating a day before the game. Both bands have their takes on the game give you their part of the rivalry bby putting in their fight songs. This is a great book cover to cover! iIt is all interesting facts about the 100 year rivalry. I recomend this book to anyone who loves the sport and wants to know about the GREATEST rivalry in sports. So weather you Hail to the Victors or fight for O- H-I -O this book will make you smile. -Drew Snyder-
