100-Year Cover-up Revealed: We Lived With Dinosaurs makes our past coexistence with dinosaurs effortlessly apparent with a wide variety of proof ranging from artistic to documentary to scientific.

Although it automatically invalidates evolution by proving coexistence, this book takes the extra step of examining and destroying, with logic and science, every major assumption and claim made by evolutionists, including the absurd notion that dinosaurs and humans missed each other by 65 million years. The sub-topic that runs throughout the entire book is that, for the past century, evolutionists have been brainwashing us with bogus claims while actively and passively covering up evidence showing that humans coexisted with dinosaurs and that evolution is basically a hoax.

100-Year Cover-up Revealed: We Lived With Dinosaurs not only proves the reality of coexistence and the fallacy of evolution, but also shows how the suppression of these facts has polluted our laboratories, classrooms, and media. Finally, this book highlights the scientific and educational implications of its conclusions and offers an intelligent alternative to evolution.

Chapter One

Could We Really Have Survived With Dinosaurs?

In my discussions with people on this topic, one of the first questions that invariably surfaces is whether or not we could have really survived with dinosaurs. To ease your skepticism on this issue so that it will not be much of a distraction as we proceed, let's address it now very briefly and then in more detail in later chapters:

The Misconceptions: Whether we could have survived with dinosaurs around is certainly a justifiable question, given our constant media bombardment with the notion that dinosaurs were such big and ferocious killing machines that they would have wiped us out if we had coexisted with them. Even many creationists laud the wisdom of God for exterminating dinosaurs before creating man, believing that man could not have survived with them.

The Truth: Such notions are far from the truth, however. We not only survived with dinosaurs, we thrived with them. And like other animals, they sparked our imagination and creativity to invent ways to control them, to create literary and artistic works around them and, at times, to even elevate them to important levels in our cosmologies.

Yes, dinosaurs, naturally, caused us problems when they lived in large numbers near us; and yes, encounters with them were sometimes deadly. But, large wild animals today cause us similar problems when they live near us. Think of the deadly encounters we have read and heard about with, for example, lions, tigers, bears and elephants, to name a few. But, like our wild animals of today, dinosaurs lived, for the most part, in their own habitats separate from ours. And we certainly do not build our homes in the middle of such habitats if they are still inhabited, do we?

They Were Controllable: Humans could and did control dinosaurs, and, as we will see later, not just to protect themselves against the dangers they posed. Remember seeing the "king of beasts" and even larger tigers jumping through hoops and lying down on command? Or bears, which are the largest land carnivores, riding bicycles? And what about a killer whale holding its mouth open while its trainer's head is inside?

Or the largest land animal on earth, the elephant, carrying passengers, stooping to allow its trainer to mount its back, or holding one of its massive front legs just inches above its supine trainer? Any of these animals could kill a human instantly, but we minimize the dangers by the control that we have always been able to exert over animals. Think back to over 2000 years ago when the Carthaginian military commander Hannibal crossed the Alps with many tame and war-trained elephants on the way to battle with the Romans.

Size Was No Great Obstacle: But dinosaurs much larger than any of the animals I just mentioned, were they not? Well, yes and no. Yes, the largest dinosaurs (sauropods) were much larger, but they were herbivorous and, therefore, no more intentionally threatening than, say, a giraffe. But no, the carnivorous predator dinosaurs (theropods) that threatened us, on average, were actually smaller than many animals that we currently train and even domesticate. Most theropods weighed between 220 and 2200 lbs, meaning that the average theropod was only about the size of a small Guernsey or Jersey cow; hardly the monstrous specters that many of us imagine.

Some Elephants Larger Than T-Rex: Although Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of the largest and most ferocious of all theropods, was longer (because of its tail) than a modern elephant, it was actually smaller in overall size than our largest elephants. T-Rex stood up to 13 feet at the hip. And standing with its back parallel to the ground, its height was not much different from our largest African Bush Elephants, which stand about 13 feet at the shoulder, sometimes even taller (the tallest measured about 14 feet at the shoulder). But, while T-Rex ranged in weight from 6 to about 7.5 tons, these elephants currently average between 6.7 and 10 tons, sometimes heavier (Up to 13 tons!) And remember, these are the kinds of animals that we routinely train.

Elephants More Dangerous Than T-Rex? No, I am not saying what would happen if an elephant tangled with a T-Rex. What I am saying is that elephants could be just as dangerous, if not more so, for humans to hunt and bring down, than a T-Rex, even though humans have always successfully hunted elephants with primitive weapons, such as spears and arrows. First of all, even though T-Rex's back was parallel to the ground, its bipedal stance made its vital organs more vulnerable to a frontal attack than the quadrupedal stance of an elephant, whose organs are further protected by its trunk, thick skull and skin. T-Rex's two-foot stance also gives it less stability and, if its legs are wounded by hunters (a method used by primitive hunters to bring down elephants before finishing them off), more likelihood to fall than an elephant's four-foot stance if its legs are attacked.

Finally, with its long tusks, huge trunk and the crushing weight of its front legs, an elephant brings more weapons to bear in a frontal attack on humans than could a T-Rex. So, although T-Rex would definitely be no pushover, I think our success with large wild animals like lions, tigers, bears and, especially elephants, strongly suggests that we could also handle dinosaurs.

We Need More Proof

Even though we have reasoned our way into believing that we could have, hypothetically, survived with dinosaurs, it means nothing without proof that we actually did. I was once just as skeptical as you are, if not more so, because the notion of coexistence contradicts what scientists, teachers and public media have been drumming into us our entire lives. I know, by experience, that it is not easy to simply abandon the longstanding notion that dinosaurs and humans missed each other by 65 million years and readily accept the radical notion that we not only coexisted but also interacted with them. To make such a leap should require evidence so strong and so overwhelming that the correctness of my conclusions would be just as clear as the nose on your face.

Well, guess what? I have brought that evidence; tons of it. From every imaginable source: art, literature, historical documents, scientific facts, you name it. As a matter of fact, if you read this book with an open mind, you may scratch your head and wonder how we could have been duped for so long.

The type of evidence we will examine in the next chapter relates to scientific dating methods. You may be surprised by what we discover.

Chapter Two

The Dates Are All Wrong

Astoundingly, evolutionary sciences like, geology, paleontology and others, fail most in the area where they collectively boast absolute authority—determining the time of past objects and events. More specifically, in assigning dates to the appearance and order of earth's past biological inhabitants and geological features and events—which basically includes everything that has ever appeared on the surface of the earth. The main reason for their failure is that the tools, theories and assumptions—basically everything they use to determine dates—are inaccurate and disproven, as we will clearly see. And after finding out that evolutionists really cannot determine the age and chronological order of things in our distant past, as they continue to claim, why we should believe them when they tell us when dinosaurs lived and died relative to humans?

The Geologic Time Scale

Their main tool is something they call a geologic time scale, which is a table showing the entire dated history of earth's features and inhabitant built from a "geologic column" of geologic layers and time frames. It is elaborately detailed, apparently complete and, therefore, impressive to read (see geologic time scale below). For example, if we want to find out when spiders and mites first appeared on land or when the northern Appalachians began forming, we go to the section of the geologic time scale (figure 2.1) showing the Devonian Period of the Paleozoic Era and Phanerozoic Eon, and the scale will show that those events occurred about 400 million years ago. Or, if we want to know when dinosaurs first appeared and died, the geologic time scale will tell us they appeared about 250 million years ago during the Triassic Period and died about 65 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous Period, both occurring during the Mesozoic Era and Phanerozoic Eon.

They base the geologic time scale on the mostly sedimentary rock layers (strata) in the earth's crust, each of which typically represents millions of years and contains many fossil remains. The lower strata are said to contain older fossils, because those strata formed earlier, while the upper strata contain newer ones, because they formed later. Take a look at the partial geologic time scale below:

So where does science fail here? The geologic time scale is supposed to be a complete chart of our geologic history based on the relative positions of mostly sedimentary rock layers and their fossils, with the lower strata being older than the upper because they formed first. It may sound reasonable, but it is not. It is simply another case of deception via smoke and mirrors.

The geologic time scale could be credible if it were really complete and relative rock positions were really the only factors involved. But it is not and they are not. The time scale is far from complete and is based on several other seriously flawed factors. Chief among these are an incomplete geologic column, circular reasoning, unscientific methodology, uniformitarianism, radiometric dating and evolution. Let's take a closer look at them to see why.

What Geologic Column?

As mentioned above, the geologic time scale is constructed around a so-called "geologic column." The most immediate problem with the column and, thus, with the time scale, however, is that no such geologic column exits anywhere in the world! Sure, we can see some geologic layers in excavation sites and canyons, but consider this: most of the geologic layers in the column are missing on most of the earth's continents! According to noted mechanical engineer, physicist and mathematician, Dr. Walt Brown, only 15% to 20% of earth's surface shows even one-third of the periods shown in the order indicated by the geologic column. Therefore, most of the geologic column consists of artificial fill-ins and manipulated ordering foisted off on us as completely natural by the scientists and educators who continue this deception. So how can the geologic time scale be valid if its foundation is invalid?

Circular Reasoning

'In addition to a nonexistent geologic column, evolutionary scientists use circular reasoning to apply the geologic time scale to determine the age of rock layers and fossils. This is quite remarkable, because, by definition, such reasoning is invalid, yet they still use it. Initially they simply assigned ages to fossils according to their assumed evolutionary stages, placing organisms assumed to have evolved first in the lower strata and those thought to have evolved later in the upper layers.' They then chose certain ones as "index" fossils for dating rock layers. In the is manner, geologists based the age of each rock stratum not only on its relative position, but also on the types of index fossils found in each one. In doing so, the strata are often arranged and catalogued according to the index fossils in each one and not necessarily in the order they were found! On the other hand, the ages of the other fossils are determined by the layer of rock.

So again, according to the geologic time scale, the age of a rock layer is based on the index fossils it contains while the ages of the other fossils is determined by the rock layer they are found in. Is your head spinning from the circular motion? J.E. O'Rourke feels the same way in his "Pragmatism Versus Materialsm in Stratigraphy": "The intelligent layman has long suspected circular reasoning in the use of rocks to date fossils and fossils to date rocks. The geologist has never bother to think of a good reply, feeling the explanations are not worth the trouble as long as the work brings results. This is supposed to be hard-headed pragmatism." (American Journal of Science, vol. 276).

But that is not all. The geologic time scale uses yet another faulty reasoning circle. This time with evolution (we will examine evolution later). As mentioned above, the geologic time scale determines the ages of index fossils and then the rock layers by the relative stages of evolution assumed for the fossils. On the other hand, evolution bases much of its evidence on the fossils and rock layers in the geologic time scale. Larry Azar (1978) joined a chorus of scientists in complaining about such procedures: "Are the authorities maintaining, on the one hand, that evolution is documented by geology and, on the other, that geology is documented by evolution? Is this not a circular argument?"

Unscientific Methodology

The most recent model for scientific methodology exposes circular reasoning of the geologic time scale as unscientific. One of the most important steps in the scientific method is testing underlying assumptions, which obviously is not being done with the geologic time scale, because circular reasoning, an invalid method of procedure, is still the mechanism that drives the geologic time scale. This means that it either was not tested, which is unscientific, or it was tested and the results ignored or covered up, which is also unscientific. Steven A. Stanley, Warren O Addicott and Kiyotaka Chizei say essentially the same thing: "in about 1830, Charles Lyell, Paul Deshayes and Heinrich George Bronn independently developed a biostratigraphic (fossils and rock layers) technique for dating Cenozoic (the current geological era, according to the geologic time scale) deposits ... Strangely, little effort has been made to test this assumption. This failure leaves the method vulnerable to circularity." ("Lyellian Curves in Paleontology: Possibilities and Limitations," (Stanley, 1980).

Another flawed assumption with the geologic time scale is the doctrine that all of Earth's geological features throughout its history have resulted from the same geological processes that we see today and at the same rates and in the same manner as we assume are occurring today. Although uniformitarianism has been totally disproven, its chief proponents, especially geologists, paleontologists, archaeologists and evolutionists continue to cling to it tenaciously and to concoct evidence of its validity, because it comports so well with their theories.

The truth is that geologic processes have occurred throughout Earth's history at irregular rates. In many instances, geologic processes indicated by the geologic time scale to have taken millions of years, actually took only thousands or hundreds or even less. Far less for fossil-bearing layers, which invariably took far less time to form than claimed by the geologic time scale. Even many stubborn geologists quietly admit that the fossil-bearing layers of sedimentary rock formed extremely quickly. The most immediate and important implication of accelerated layer formation, of course, is the serious doubt that it casts on the millions of years that supposedly exist between dinosaurs and humans.

Fossil-bearing sedimentary rock layers are found on every continent on the surface of the earth. It is clear that fossils and the materials that cover them (dirt, rocks, etc) formed very quickly, otherwise the fossils and, therefore the fossil-bearing strata could not have formed. If exposed to the open air for any extended period of time, dead organisms (plants and animals) would be eaten by predators or, if left uneaten, would disintegrate. So, in order to be fossilized, the organisms had to be completely covered with surface materials, in most cases instantly. For this to occur, some widespread catastrophe had to have caused a massive upheaval of surface materials, transported them to other areas and then deposited them on the life forms that became fossils. But what widespread catastrophe could do this and cover so much of the earth with layer after layer of fossil-bearing rock strata?

A flood, of course. Other types of catastrophes like meteorite and asteroid impacts, explosions and fires could not have preserved the fossils and laid the strata so consistently. They would have done the opposite. They would have destroyed the remains and disrupted widespread strata formation. So, it could only have been a flood. A world-wide flood. A flood as large as the one described in the Old Testament (Genesis 6 and 7).

Incredibly Good - A Must Read!

I didn't think it was possible for one book to convince me that evolution is a false theory and that we lived with dinosaurs , but this one did! The author makes his points to well and with so much proof that I'm sure anyone who reads it with an open mind will also be convinced. I highly recommend it!
