The 100 Year Old Secret by Tracy Barret

This book was good but not my favorite. There was not a good climax, and was not suspenseful.

I got this book for my nine year old sister for Christmas and sh

I got this book for my nine year old sister for Christmas and she LOVED it. My mom didn't think a book would be appreciated because my sister doesn't enjoy reading as much as I did when I was her age, but I of course did what my mother told me not to do. I'm glad I did. My sister stayed up way past her bed time for several nights because she apparently couldn't put it down. I read it myself before I gave it to her. At 23 I found it to be entertaining as well, full of mystery without being scary. There wasn't any bad language or inappropriate themes for the age group. Not only has this book made my sister want to read more books but she also wants to learn more about Sherlock Holmes, English literature, and English history. I just ordered the second book for her.

    Best mystery ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book was AWESOME my dad and i read it together and we found that we couldn't put it down! The two kids Xena and Xander Holmes are the most lovable characters. There is so much suspense in the whole book you don't want to put it down. How they solve the case is so unexpected and it gives you a chance t solve the case too! You think you know it but then the book takes a twist at the end. You should really check out the book and its sequal too. AWESOME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
