Want a NOOK? Explore Now
Every entry from the original edition has been readdressed, rewritten, and made fuller, with more suggestions for places to stay, restaurants to visit, festivals to check out. And throughout, the book is more budget-conscious, starred restaurants and historic hotels such as the Ritz, but also moderately priced gems that don’t compromise on atmosphere or charm.
The world is calling. Time to answer.

BN is selling the book in store with a code for the free nookbook! This is really neat! We've been asking for something like this for a while!

I have purchased sixteen copies of the first edition and both a electronic version and a paperback version of the second edition. There are too many places to see and not enough time. Some of the most famous are duds and getting advice about what really is worth your time and your money is what people who have limited time and limited money.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. The book lives up to the promise of revising the same book from its first edition. It promises better information on the same places mentioned from the first book as well as adding more to it. The pictures could have been bigger though but still a good book to check out.
