Overview

The possible meanings of our dreams are as varied, as intricate, and as infinite as our thoughts. 10,000 Dreams Interpreted is your opportunity to unlock the secrets of your unconscious mind and explore the possibilities of your dream landscape.

What do our dreams mean? The language of dreams is made up mostly of visual symbols that often seem incomprehensible. 10,000 Dreams Interpreted will give you a key to help you understand those symbols and, in turn, the meaning of your dreams. According to Gustavus Hindman Miller, author of 10,000 Dreams Interpreted, every symbol that appears in a dream has its own unique meaning, and without the knowledge of that meaning, we will never attain a real understanding of our dreams. For example, did you know that if you dream of leaves it denotes happiness and improvement in business? Or if you dream of a sleigh, it means you will fail in a love affair and incur the displeasure of a friend? There are thousands of things we dream about that may have significant and unusual meanings, including(to name just a few): actors, blacksmiths, crows, dolphins, elephants, fish, garlic, hogs, ice cream, jams, lanterns, museums, newspapers, oysters, peaches, quicksand, rain, sawdust, tattoos, umbrellas, violets, waiters, yachts, and zebras.

10,000 Dreams Interpreted is a unique encyclopedic handbook that will provide essential information to help you understand the richness of your dreams.

The best of it's kind. Six years of searching and I've found it again.

This book is a lot less confusing than similar books. It also happens to be a lot more comprehensive. They give you examples of dreams and then translate them for you. This has nothing to do with the 10,000 dreams meantioned in the title, it's all about your dreams. A dream dictionary that is unsurpassed in quality, quantity, and usability. Use it once and you'll see that it is well worth the price.

    Dream interpretation

I haven't written down and interpreted my dreams in some time but I always remember this book as being the most accurate of all the dream books I've used, and I've tried quite a few.

It was always easy to use and the symbols explained in a very clear method for anyone who'd like to interpret their dreams. Some of the descriptions like the one for a Horse tend to be a bit weird and strange but it makes the book that much more interesting. I mostly bought a new copy as my original copy was worn and getting old.

    Hard To Understand

It's a very good book, for someone who can understand what they are talk about, by their words. I found most words, for me to understand and brake down. I still couldn't understand. It's take a good dream and knocking it down to something bad to look forward to. What I need, is a book to understand and brake down to my leavel.

Forgot where I got this. Probably a bookstore or sale. But had this one for as long as I can remember. This was good, interesting but good.

    Do not recommend.

Out dated Nd not relevant to today. Very sexist. Would not recommend especially on the Nook. Not easy to navigate the pages.

    Don't waste your money

The author is not a Therapist or Psychologist,so everything he wrote is his own imagination. The book was written in 1901 and needs to be burned. Buy a book that was written in the 21st century. This explains why I couldn't understand what the heck he was writing about. For more info, do like I did and Google his bio. Your jaw will drop.

    Dreams

This isnt really what i was looking for, it doesnt really tell you what the topica,s mean, but more of what caused them in a way. Glad it was only a dollard. Pkus there is no table of context so it takes a long time to find the letter your looking for.

    knowing what you are dreaming

I have come across a number of dream diaries and dictionaries and this book is excellent. THe organization and the quotes used to explain different objects in a dream is very clear and observant. I recommend this book to anyone who might need to know something about their subconscious and their own insight

    Provides the basics

I was so excited when I bought this book thinking it would have the detail and flexibility to interpret dreams. There are certainly thousands of points to consider. Of course, there are just as many concepts missing or out of date. It gives a broad basis from which to begin learning about dream interpretation.

I would not recommend this book.

This book has lots of dreams, but I rarely ever found one that would match my dreams or I found there weren't any words that I could use that matched. I found this very frustrating and unhelpful.

    Pretty Good

I like figuring out what my dreams mean, and this book works for me. I wish it had an index, but other than that, it's pretty good.

    Great Information for the Dreamers.

For anyone whom dreams frequantly, this book is a must have! 10,000 Dreams Interpreted helps the dreamers of the world to see their dreams true meaning. It also helps to explain why some people do not dream, or so to speak, don't remember dreaming. I would recommend this book to anyone that dreams frequantly!

    Pretty Good

I expected it to be more of the guide to what your dreams mean corresponding to your feelings but its much more of a prediction of what will happen in your life according to your dreams. Besides that, its pretty good and it is pretty interesting. I think I rather would have had the actual interpretation rather than a prediction book though.

Looks simple but the inside is worth discovering

Had one few years back and bought one as a gift to a friend and even her kids are reading it. The book and illustration is good. I just wish the author include about colors if there's a meaning in it.

Let's all get depressed over our dreams

This is the first book of dream interpretations I've bought, and probably my last. The interpretations seemed to be from the mid-19th century with little modernization. They are also usually negative. It did predict personal issue in my life, but overall, I think there are a few on-line dream interpretation sites that are much better, but you may want this around for reference just...in...case.
