My due date in October 14 and I havebeen looking for the perfect name. This book is WONDERFUL! I found so many names and the books shows several names from different areas in every country. Find out the place names originated. Now my problem is deciding on one out of the seven. I found my fathers and grandfather name came from Holland.... I will enjoy this book for a long time.

Possibly the previous reviewers purchased an earlier edition of this ebook than I did. I was disappointed that Barnes & Noble (a company with a history of publishing physical books using high production values) even considered publishing this book under their name given the poor quality of its production. The content may very well be interesting and useful, but formatting problems made the content all but impossible to interpret. The book appears to have been intended to be organized in unordered lists of names indented under locations where the names are found. However, when I read the book on my NOOKColor, I see a mish-mash of locations and names spread out across the page with no apparent organization. Also disappointing was the fact that many (although not all) special characters display as boxes or other characters that cannot be interpreted. If the author paid Barnes & Noble to publish her book, she deserves a refund, as do those of us who purchased it.

I found this book to be better than other baby book names I have looked at. It had countries and the top names. I chose the name Shefton for my baby that will be born in Dec 11, 2011. Thanks for a wonderful book. Mother of Boys
