    Recommended as reminder lessons

I have used this book for two purposes. The first was to help me to remember exercises and lessons taught many years ago which I had forgotten. I am not a teacher, but have been able to pass the information along to my horse just as well. My second goal was to show my my once-western, now-English schooled horse about English discipline. She appreciates and understands my requests now, and is very pleased when she's accomplished the goal. We have both learned a lot about each other during this process, and practice the exercises often. She has learned quickly using the techniques and our lessons are now a pleasure instead of frustrating. Recommended!

    Needed at Every Ring Side

I have been around horses my whole life & taken lessons for years. However, there were always loop holes left in my knowlege on how to comunicate on what I wanted my horse to do. This book has been a god send & has really improved both my horses performance and mine by working from ground up (wether you thought you needed it or not). I HIGHLY recommend it!

    recommended!

I found this book very handy when I needed some arena exercises. Even her beginner lessons are useful for a more advanced rider to glance through and glean advice or tips from to improve the basics of their riding. The more advanced exercises are definitely not for beginner riders but are written in a fairly easy to understand format.
