I was able to get the Nook Tablet version of this cookbook for less than two dollars, so it wasn't very expensive. However, I would have to rate it as average compared to the other Gooseberry 101 Recipes books. The plus side is that they put an interactive index in the front so you can see the recipe listings and jump to the one you want. The title states that there's 101 recipes, but my tablet used up only 126 pages, and about 19 of those were for the intro and ending. Also usual with Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, there's repetitive recipes with the majority you can get online, like Shepherd's Pie, Mac and Cheese, and Scalloped potatoes. Only a handful are remotely healthy, such as Butternut Squash and the Hobo Dinner. Forget the diet....there's quite a few very heavy meals here.
