    Not my best purchase

    Most of the recipes rely on box cake mixes with add ins - thus the ten minutes. I found them less than gourmet too. If you are a purist who tries to avoid extracts this isn't your book either. I also found the icing recipes typical of others as well. That said I'll give a look every now and then for flavor combinations and ideas. Honestly though I won't use the cake recipes at all due to the cake mixes - I don't think scratch takes that much more time and you have control of the ingredients.

    That is so stupid

    Why woul you even put a box mix in a cookbook. In a cook book you are supposed to use scratch ingredients not box mixes that is so so so so so so so so so so so stupid. You are suppoesed to use scatch ingredients. DAH!!!!!
