This book is a must for the newbie HD enthusiast. Very basic maintenance and chrome gee-gaw installation. Not much performance other than bolt on goodies. Get the FOMOCO service manual if you want to fix your scoot. Mostly BT stuff but some XL projects. Section on ignition modules is pretty handy.

This is the single best technical guide for the Evo big twin and sportster. It offers an absolute wealth of information on every area. It is designed to be read in conjunction with the manual, however, it offers the novice through to the experienced harley spannerman the services of the most knowledgable source imaginable. I initially thought the layout was strange, but it is the best organisation by far of any of these books. I loved it. 11/10...
