I've seen an early review copy of this book, and it is absolutely charming. Too be "cool" in her kid's eyes, a mother only needs to know a few simple secrets any busy mother with a 24/7 schedule can learn. Knowing "How to Throw a Spiral Pass" just involves teaching your child to put his hands in the right position on a ball. "Winning More Points in Ping-Pong" involves avoiding the other guy's "power zones" (do you know where those are? I do). From "How to Make the World's Greatest Caramel Corn" to "How to Get Gum Out of Hair (without Scissors)" to "How to Build a Leaf House," this sweet book gives every mom many cool tips and a few days off at the same time. I love it.
