Meet the Author

Linda Sadler has always enjoyed throwing Halloween parties and sharing her ideas with other people. As the mother of two boys, ages 12 and 15, she has over 10 years of experience planning school parties. She has also thrown Halloween parties at her home for over 15 years. The idea to write this book came from her constant struggles to find new decoration, craft, game and treat ideas for her parties. Her goal is to make planning a Halloween party easy, so she has written this book with easy to follow step-by-step instruction. Anyone, even those who are not crafty or creative, can follow the directions and make fun decorations, treats and party favors.

    Good Ghouls' Guide to Fun

Throwing a Halloween party can be an exhilarating, yet daunting, endeavor. To the rescue is this nifty party book designed to liven up any Halloween gathering no matter what age the ghouls. Here you¿ll find quick and clever ideas to spookify both inside and outside your tomb. Of course you¿ll need festive treats and Linda has devised many tasty and eye-appealing dishes. Some of my favorites are `Bugs On A Log¿ (we served this at the Feast of Halloween at the 4th Global Halloween Convergence in Sleepy Hollow, NY¿it was gone in minutes!), Deviled Eyeballs, and Frozen Zombie Hands for chilling Halloween brews. What party is complete without games! Here Linda¿s creativity really shines as she offers relay games, active games, and everyone¿s favorite¿quiet games. Many of her offerings are traditional games with a decidedly Halloween flavor that makes them fun for all ages. Ones I¿ve used with adults with tremendously fun results at the Annual Global Halloween Convergence include the Mummy Wrap Game, Halloween Balloon Pop, and Halloween Scavenger Hunt. If you¿re planning a Halloween party this year, get this book!

A lot of fun and easy Halloween party ideas!

I just purchased this book and am looking forward to using the ideas for my upcoming Halloween party. I am impressed with the variety of ideas...most can easily be done by my children and I look forward to 'creating' the fun treats. The directions are so easy to follow that even a non-crafty person like myself can make the decorations and party favors. The pictures are very useful because I can see what I am making. I look forward to using the ideas in this book for both my children's school party and my annual Halloween party. Thank you for the great new party ideas! P.S. My children have already made several batches of the SLIME and they play with it like play doe...it is amazing how two liquids are mixed together to make a solid. It is a blast to make.
