    Tons of great links!

I found '101 Ways to Promote Your Web Site' filled with tons of useful links, which helps cut down on my online surfing time. There are also plenty of new ideas for online as well as offline promotion. I especially liked the detailed information I found in topics such as email signature files and encouraging visitors to return to your site.

    Save A Tree!

Sadly, my wife bought this book for me as a valentine's day present. After a scan of the contents and looking at a few chapters, this one's going back! I'm sure this book will provide hours of help for someone who is just starting on the web. If, however, you have investigated any resources online, all the information will come as basic common sense. Save $30 and get something like 'HTML4 for The World Wide Web' that gives promotion what it deserves, 20 pages in two chapters plus lots of other stuff you will need to know about site serving. This is a book for people who bought a 200 pager on using AOL Instant Messenger.
