It takes ten years and ten-thousand hours to score this perfect 10 eBook. As an engineer and writer, I cried all the way through the technical part on using painful experience to drive your writing. It brought a flood of words that I need for my book. It turned the attention away from me and onto my readers. Thank you Mary for sharing.

This short and simple book provides all the basic information needed by beginning writers. Anyone looking for a book about how to get published should start with this one. Mary DeMuth shares some honest examples of her own mistakes and shortcomings along the way so there's nothing intimidating for readers.

This book is worth so much more then what you are paying. It helps writers in all levels of expertise to understand the writing and publishing world by her experiences, schooling and skills. Instructing the reader in all areas of his or her writing skills to help them to sharpen their abilities and finally obtaining the possibility of being a published author. This is my second book of Mary's and both books have become invaluable to me as I am new entering into this world of literature. We owe Mary a huge gratitude for caring about us enough to share all this wealth of information that has taken her so many years of accomplishments to achieve. Thank-you Mary, for all the hard work you have done and your dedication to all of us want-to-be authors.

Do you write? Do you ever expect to be published? Then you must get this book. I read through this thing and learned so much that I'm planning on re-reading over and over. There is so much in this eBook! This gave me a boost of encouragement as well. Now - if only I could figure out how to use my highlighter on the iPad or place sticky notes all over the pages I usually do in my reference books!
Why are you still reading this.....get going and get this downloaded for yourself!!!

It is true that the road to publication is a rather bumpy one, but in her book, 11 Secrets of Getting Published, Mary DeMuth smooths the way for writers by showing them how to: Write nekkid, kill the adverbs, know editors, find story ideas, write great queries and proposals, as well as a heap of other writing tips to enhance the overall process.
With 11 Secrets to Getting Published, and a lot of "hard, hard work," the path to professional publication may be closer than you think.
But wait! There's more! Mary is throwing in 3 bonus sections! This special edition for the Nook includes: Bonus Section 1:I'd Be Published, But.; Bonus Section 2:Quick Writing Advice; Bonus Section 3: Path to Publication.
With an affordable price of $2.99, you can't afford to let this gem pass you by!

There were really no "secrets" divulged in this book. And for a book that suggests good writing is one, there were several errors that jarred me as I read it.
