111 More Classic Tracks [6-CD Limited Edition]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Patsy Morita
Following up on its 2009 anniversary release, 111 Years of Deutsche Grammophon, Deutsche Grammophon issued this second set of six discs in 2010. Like that first six-disc set, it's an extended sampler that pulls movements and short works from the 56 discs in part two of the 111 Collector's Edition. The range of music runs from the Renaissance to the turn of the 21st century, and covers every genre. The mixture can be overwhelming, but the quality of the performances and recordings is generally high.
