13th Boy starts out with a young teenage girl named Hee-So confessing her love for her classmate Won-Jun in front of her entire school and on national television. Though he accepts he is still cold towards Hee-So until less than a month after the confession, he suddenly dumps her without explanation. Hee-So decides to try to win him back because she believes that he is her fated love. He is also her 12th boyfriend. Won-Jun's best friend Whie-Young is a mysterious classmate that helps Hee-So out a lot but she fails to notice him and thinks he is a pain. There is evidence of him using magic which is unexplained but could lead to a really interesting story in the later volumes. Hee-So also has a pet cactus who has mutated to be not only alive and able to move around but has an exuberant and wonderful personality.
All in all the manga was a wonderful read, the artwork while not the best, was still very good. I'd suggest getting it if you already read manga and have a love for romantic comedies and lighthearted fun.
