Scott and Amy Mitchell were (nearly) high school sweethearts, young to the altar, and head over heels in love… and very nearly become one of American's divorce statistic stories after just a few years of marriage.

We were young and headstrong and we thought we knew it all—we thought we only needed to rely on ourselves! We came from very different backgrounds of faith and although we always went to church and prayed to God for his blessings, we didn't truly hand our lives over to Him until our frustrations and anxieties had almost come to boiling point—and almost broken our marriage!

But God heard our prayers, and saw into our hearts, and He blessed us with a marriage that gets stronger with each and every day. He deserves all the credit for the loving union we share with our two beautiful children (with a third on the way!). We never would have found the happiness and joy we have without His guidance and grace, so we're hoping we can pay it forward and show others how to ask for God's help in their marriage.

Our books are based on the prayers that we wrote for ourselves when times got tough. We hope they work for you as well, but we don't deserve any of the credit—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the guiding lights you need to get your marriage back on track, and enjoy a love so pure and true you'll feel like you're falling in love all over again every time you wake up to see your significant other.
