Assembling a compilation of the Beatles is a difficult task, not only because they had an enormous number of hits, but also because singles didn't tell the full story; many of their album tracks were as important as the singles, if not more so.     The Beatles Remastered Continues...

    Following the success of the Remastered Beatles Stereo Box Set and the Beatles in Mono last year, it picks up where it left off. The same people,who remastered the entire Beatles catalog, has done it again. This time, the Beatles 1962-1966, also known as the Red album, sounds a lot better and louder than the previous c.d. that was released in 1993. Absent in the remastered version is the James Bond-like intro of "Help" that was included in the vinyl version. When the red album was released as a c.d in 1993, the sound quality was too low and soft to listen. I had to turn the volume up. Now that the Beatles 1962-1966 is remastered, I don't have to worry about turning up the volume.

    Highly Recommended

    Love listening to this CD. I remember the Beatles coming to the U.S. back in 1964 and have always been a huge fan. For some odd reason, I have never purchased a CD. After see "Just Imagine," the musical play about John Lennon's life and music, I was determined to finally purchase the Beatles' CDs. Yes, it is a terrific CD.

    Great CD

    People are either fans of the Beatles or the Rolling Stones, but I come from an era where I liked both groups. This CD is wonderful as it contains all of the greatest hit songs of the Beatles.
