    Beautiful to read

The BCP is a truly beautiful book. I can turn it to almost any page on my Nook and find something to inspire me.

Does not correspom Does not correspond to BCP print editions

The beautiful thing about the BCP is that you can pick up a large print or regular print edition and the pages always are the same. Not so with the Nook or Kindle editions. This was a very disappointing discovery. If you are familiar with the book, then you will be able to find what you want, just don't expect to easily use it for Sunday services.

    Disappointing

Page numbers do not correspond to the book BCP and navigation is not easy. This nook version is not complete. PDF version available from Rite Brain is still better.

    Of Limited Use

This is not a criticism of the actual book but of the Nook format. For the person who knows his or her way around the BCP, this is marginally helpful when you don't want to carry around an actual book. Otherwise, it would be incomprehensible. Not easy to navigate through. Note: there are hyperlinks that will take you to the page you want in the actual BCP format.

    Not happy yet.

What I wish I could see was a full page of the Book of Common Prayer at a time instead of one or two lines.
    Maybe I'm doing something wrong???
I couldn't take this to church and use it in the service and that's what I wanted it for!

    Not Authentic Format

Although text is identical, fonts and spacings are very different from the printed edition. Confusing to someone transitioning from the printed edition to this one. I would get the epub from Church Publishing.

    Handy for home

Though accurate and the pages match the printed book, this is not very handy for service use. BCP requires different services and collects for different days and the Nook does not have a "back" button that is easy to use.
It would be nice for a Compline service with the lights in the chancel down low and the screen barely lit.

Is this the real book of common prayer or just another nook trick thing? Please answer me. God bless you all.

Essential for Episcopalians, Interesting for others

The book of common prayer is an essential part of daily life for Episcopalians. It contains our liturgy, catecism (sic), daily offices and more. With this on my nook, I always have my prayer book with me.

Easy to jump from different parts of the book.

    It's a shame...

...that I can't read this nor any other Nook Book that I purchased. Every time I try and read it on my Mac with the Nook readers software my CPU is pegged at 100% by the BNIndexer.
