As its title suggests, the double-disc collection 20 Years of Narada Piano gathers highlights from the label's roster of pioneering new age pianists, including Wayne Gratz, Michael Jones, Michael Gettel, and Ira Stein. Jones' "Endings," Gratz' "Dark Eyes," and Gettel's "Orcas" are among the first disc's highlights, along with Mia Jang's "Water Circles," Shelia Larkin's "Poetic Justice," and Spencer Brewer's "Ghost Mountain." Disc two features Fred Simon's "Sister Bay," Michael Whalen's "First Light," Bradley Joseph's "The Glen," and Bob Read's "Turning." This smoothly sequenced collection of soothing piano pieces reaffirms Narada's place as one of the leading labels for new age/contemporary instrumental music, and 20 Years of Narada Piano will appeal not only to fans of the artists and the label, but anyone looking for some creative and relaxing mood music.

What a fantastic album. Makes me wish I had such talent.
I returned the music because it ejected itself on my new Cambridge Sound Works so I cannot sit and replay it from the remote. I was given another one at Barnes and Noble but it does the same thing. I am very unhappy about this but kept the disc because we wanted the music so much. Cannot see why of all my discs this one does this. People at Barnes and Noble could not figure it out either. The wrapping is almost impossible to open by the way.
One of the most beautiful collection of pieces.
