This is a life changing book...SERIOUSLY!

This book is a kick in the pants. DO SOMETHING before it's too late. The book has everything--from easy things to, well, pretty darn difficult but at least there's a challenge for you. I bought this book for myself and then give it out for birthdays and it made a fantastic graduation present for my nephew.

    A reviewer

I thought this book looked like fun but ended up very disterbed by the content. Many of the suggestions I found to be immoral and of a promiscuous nature, one even blasphemous! I feel that people need to be aware of 'fun' little books like these that seem innocent and lighthearted enough but actually are sprinkled throughout with suggestive content which can be very dangerous to our community of young people.

    just for fun book.

some says death is a morbid thing... but hey everyone of us will go in that same path of dying, we just don't know when and where. The book was fun to read, you can get a glimpse of what to do and gives you a direction of celebrating life to its fullest.

    Amazing~

I love the ideas on this book. They are uplifting and bring a smile to the face of those who read it. It only takes about a page of their "to-do" list to fall in love with this book. Some ideas are practical, others just plain memorable yet unattainable but makes you want to try harder in life so you may one day achieve a good amount of these checks. Amazing book, recommend it for all those people who love adventures or just looking for some little (or immense) change in their lives.

    Good to help set goals!

I really enjoyed this books fresh perspective and easy to follow check-list. There are a few funny, never going to happen ideas, but stuff to think about! So far, I have almost 500 things checked, and it's a feel good feeling.

    Everyone needs a 'Bucket List!'

I saw this book on a bargain table and bought it on a whim. 2 days later I went back and bought another for a dear friend for his birthday. Unbeknownst to me, he had seen the movie The Bucket List and loved it, just days before he recieved his gift in the mail. He told me it was the best gift he'd recieved, and when we saw each other next, we spent several hours comparing our books and finding new things to accomplish together. I still find things that I've missed everytime I look through the book to check off, and find others that I can do. Very highly recommended.

    Great Stocking STuffer!

This book is great! I bought it for my friends and family this year for Christmas as a stocking stuffer! I first came across this book when a friend received it as a gift and I've been searching for it for over a year now. I finally found it yesterday and bought every copy the store had on display! I think its a great tool for living life to the fullest. It contains so many little things I never thought of doing but, upon reading them, thought to myself, 'Why didnt I think to do that?!' I plan on doing as many things in this book as I can, having already gone through and checked off a few things already. I recommend this book for you, your friends, your family, or even a stranger! Enjoy it and I hope it helps you feel more alive!!

Read The Fine Print and Let Your Hair Down!

Has anyone else noticed that the author mentions the above two suggestions twice in the book. Either she firmly believes that these two things are imperative to living a wholesome life, or it's the key to cracking the DaVinci code!! This book sat on my shelf for one year, and only today I've read through it. I've found many of the suggestions funny and I've chuckled at the quotes but I see that despite the author's attempt at diversifying the suggestions to explore cross-cultural ideas (such as quotes by authors from the world over, and drawing attention to attractions in different continents) the suggestions mostly centered around American culture, and a greater number of attractions that are based mostly in Europe. I think if the author paid a bit more attention to the content, she could produce a book that folks across the world could utilize before they die. This is an entertaining and interactive book that I would suggest (when they print more copies of this book that is!)for anyone trying to prepare a list of anything.

    'Living' In Austin

My friend gave this to me when I was experiencing a hard time of life stemming from work...I told her I didn't feel that I had 'stories'. She was so wonderful! This was a gift to me to start experiencing life and having stories. I have had several people tell me just how much I have inspired them because of how excited I get when I talk about this book, my adventures, and my goals. Wonderful!!!

2,001 Things to Do Before You Die

I found this book in the Barnes and Noble store a few months back and bought it as one of those books to keep in the bathroom (my husband does a lot of reading in there )) I have to say I am blown away by how my whole family is inspired to try alot of the things on the list. My son loves the fact that there are things in it that he can check off his life list. It's a cute and inspiring little book

    Cute Book!

I was at B&N yesterday with my friend and my mom looking for a completely different book, when my mom saw this one in the 'Last Chance' section for $6. She showed it to me just being funny, but it is really enjoyable. So many things I have done already, and some things I know I will not do. But it is so much fun to read, and get ideas from!

    Amazing!

When I first bought this book, I was expecting it to have a ton of things that I hadn't done and would never be able to accomplish in my lifetime. Instead, I found a lot that I had achieved and tons more that I could do. There something for everyone in this book. I'll bet that even a two-year old could find something he/she has already done.

    for the idealist

I thought this book was adorable, I like the general principle, some of the things were alittle outlandish for my taste, but it gives you so much insight and helps you plan what you really do want to do, try and see. It's a great starting point for the idealist, like me. My friends were a little worried at first that I thought I was dying, but once you get the book you will understand that it is about truly living. I am getting 3 more copies to give to friends as gifts.

2,001 Things to Do Before You Die

I am always looking for that add-on present for friends' birthdays. Sounds cheap of me but at under $6, this book is going to be my go-to title for friends from now on. It's got great ideas for things to try and tackle in life, plus there are sure to be some things you've done in life so you get a nice feeling checking the box.

    Now I have a PLAN

How fun to read about all those little things we can do in life that don't cost anything but give us a richer life. Plus, it was nice to be able to mark off so many things that I have already done. Great little book, good for any hard to buy for friend.
