    The Writer's Bible

This book is a must have for any writer, no matter what your style! Even if you're not an accomplished writer you can learn how to sharpen your skills, learn to write your own query's, and find a company to publish your work! It's a very helpful book, and user-friendly (something I need since I'm only thirteen). Overall it's a deinite must for all writer's!!! It's like my Bible!

Okay book but more is needed.

This is a new concept for a Writer's Digest market guide. While it is helpful you might find the two earlier editions, 2000, 1999, more helpful. These three place a great deal of emphasis on the Internet as a resourch and that's fine. But you need more.

    Know what it is

The clear advantage of the Internet Edition is that it gives access to a database of markets that can be expanded and updated for you in ways that a printed book simply cannot be. As an internet tool it appears to work, although, it is subject to the fragilities of the net, speed, crashes, time-outs, etc. The disappointment is that they have discarded the great housekeeping features of the 1999 & 2000 electronic editions, submission tracker, printing reports, customized market lists (These are replaced by 'favorite folders' that you build. The major feature is a subscription to the website for which you do not even require the book. If you have used the previous electronic editions, be aware that in many ways this newest version is different. A lot of conveniences to which you may have become accustomed are gone! You cannot use the disk at all unless you are online.
