Overview

No ritual matches the restorative powers of afternoon tea, a time to share, sip, and nibble a diversity of dainty and delicious treats. Celebrating the civilized ritual for the ninth year, The Collectible Teapot & Tea Calendar features a dozen rare and lovely teapots photographed in sumptuous settings of flowers and teatime treats. Exquisite 18th-century Worcester, a cheery T. G. Green polka-dot pot, and Colonial-era silver culled from museums and private collections, each pot comes with an intriguing story to match its delightful design and decoration. With history and lore by food writer and tea connoisseur Joni Miller and transporting photographs by Martin Brigdale.

I enjoy tea and giving tea parties so very much! With the 2004 Collectible Teapot and Tea Wall Calender I can look at delightful pictures from my bed when I lay there. It's fun.

These calendars have been gracing my office wall for four years now. Each month is a treat. I never want to turn to the next page, and then I do and I sigh deliciously all over again. The pictures give such a lovely, friendly sense of home and comfort. Some are very formal, special occasions, yet inviting. Some are the casual Saturday afternoon-break-from-digging-in-the-garden type. The largest number are the beautifully presented afternoon tea where you stop everything, sit down in a lovely setting and take tea with pretty things, good company and delicious treats. It's that achievable ideal. Keep these calendars coming, Please!
