2004 George W. Bushisms Daily Boxed Calendar

( 8 )

Bush has become as famous for such gems of accidental wit as he has for the unprecedented way he came into office. ("I don't know I'm ready for the job. And if not, that's just the way it goes.") It's not easy being the leader of the free world. Sometimes, the pressure is so intense that such verbal gaffes as "I understand small business growth. Jacob Weisberg, the editor-in-chief of Slate magazine, has collected some of the Commander in Chief's most hilarious although unintentional—conversational miscues into two popular books, George W. Bushisms and More George W. Bushisms. This calendar borrows from both of those and adds still more quotes to provide plenty of nervous laughter from both sides of the political spectrum.

It was worth coming to work for!

I looked forward to a misquote every morning when I tore off the calendar page from the day before. Some days I actually laughed until I cried! It made my day, my week, my month~ I am so glad there is a calendar for 2004!!

Bush is a wise and intelligent leader, but he has some hardships with public speaking obviously. Go get em Bush!

    What is the Matter?

This was not a very good calendar. This author could have done much better. Since who may I ask you would like to follow the steps of Bush? I know that I would not.

If you want a daily chuckle...

buy this calendar, we did. My husband and I crack up daily. I am amazed at the faux pas our president has made. Quite embarrassing for the United States really.

    This sounds hilarious!

I think I'll order it! Just please, don't send it to our 'former' allies over in Europe, they already think our president is an idiot!

Great for anyone with a sense of grammar

If you watch the state of the union address anxiously anticipating the next new word dubya can create, this calendar is for you. I change the page on it daily knowing it will brighten my day, just by the sheer confusion of it all. A must for anyone that enjoys laughing at grammar mistakes as much as I do!

    What a crock

This calendar is horrible! Instead of poking fun at our last scandalous president, in which there is plenty of material to make fun of, the author decides to make fun of a president who actually does something good for the country. Go figure
