I'm a professional songwriter, and I've been using the Songwriters Market for over a decade. Not only are the listings helpful, but the articles written by industry professionals are enlightening and inspiring. This book also helps songwriters get ideas as to where to place their songs (which is beneficial if you live outside of the Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles areas). I personally know several publishers and producers listed in the book, and they've told me the Songwriter's Market is a great resource for them, too.
