Overview

With Sandra Boynton's spirited chickens, cows, hippos, pigs, and mice running, skipping, and hopping through the pages plus its renowned organizational brawn, Mom's calendar is seriously hardworking— and seriously fun, too. To make it super-practical, the calendar covers sixteen months beginning in September. And the format is pure genius: The oversized grid is laid out on a vertical, with five columns across the top (one for each family member) and the days of the month reading down the left side. It's easy to see who's doing what, and when they're doing it, with just a glance. Includes 500 stickers and a handy write-on, wipe-off magnetic phone list for the fridge.

Came upon this calendar a few years back and look for it every year. It makes organizing my days easier. We are a family of 4 so there is a space for our group activities as well. LOVE IT! Thanks

I got one of these as a gift last year. We liked it (the format) so much we refused to buy a calendar until just recently when I found one. We are happy to be able to keep track of who goes where when once again!

Don't like it because the vertical format makes it hard for a mom to see what's going on since I have to drive my kids to their events. It appears that a mom doesn't have anything to do because the box is empty but you're involved in the rest of the family's activities. Also, it isn't gridded so it's no as easy to look for the third monday, for example. Also, the drawings push into the mom's column for some of the months. For these and other reasons, I prefer other calendars.

I am a mother of five children from age 11 - 21. All of them are still full-time, ACTIVE, students. For years I have done my best to keep everyone's schedule. It was a struggle until I picked up a MOM'S FAMILY CALENDAR. Now I have no problem figuring out who goes where and when. Nor does my children have to figure out where I may be on certain days.

I recieved my 1st Mom's Family Calendar as a gift and was a bit apprehensive about the Vertical format. How would I see where the weekends and days of the week were in this format?? But I found the transition easier than I ever thought possible and the benefits far outweighed any transitional bumps. We have 4 kids 9-22 years old so my children can write in their own work schedules, school activities, etc. in their own column and I can see at a glance what each day hold for each of us. Dad doesn't have much going on so he shares a column with me (mom). I can't wait for the new years' calendar to come out each year because I know I'll have my 'old friend' to help me be organized and make it so easy to stay on top of things.

'Mom's Family Calendar' is the only calendar I buy. I absolutely love the format! There are five collumns across the page, one for each family member, and a row for every day of the month. Everyone has their own square for each day! We are a family of 4, so we each have our own collumn to write our schedules & important notes in. We have an extra collumn for other important dates (birthdays, anniversaries & appointments for family pets - vet/meds). It's 'command central' for us. I recommend this calendar to everyone.
