I Also Recommend:

    Makes Life Easy!

It is a great way to organize your family's life into one central area. The book includes calendars for a few years, pages to list doctors, teachers, and frequently called numbers. It has a great spot to place take out menus and receipts too. It has so many more things that really do keep everything running smoothly. It is a binder so, you can add your own pages or take out pages to individualize the books based upon your needs.

My family knows when I have signed permission slips or need a quick phone number for the doctor, repairman, plumber, etc. They know exactly where to look and find the info easily. I have used the babysitter info successfully and the babysitters have appreciated the info so, there were no doubts or questions. It even has a spot for everyone's wish list which I have stored info and surprised them because I remembered! Wink! Wink!

It is a very comprehensive book that is worth every penny. Unfortunately, this site does not allow you to buy the refills and you have to go to the Family Facts website to purchase refills for all of Pam Socolow's products. However, everyone has such hectic lives and it is too easy to have a miscommunication; this book prevents this from happening.

The only downfall of the book is that it gets very heavy over time and my cover has started to get yucky. It is not resistant to water and the clear coating over the binder is bubbling and cracking. Eventually, I will either have to break down and buy a new binder or just buy a generic binder and add the Family Facts pages to it. Time will tell!

I do recommend this great organizer!

Three things that could stand improvement

This organizer is a good idea and it does take a long time to rewrite all the info you have elsewhere in the house. But the point is your info will be all in one place for easy reference and for that it works well. Three things that could stand improvement in the design.
1) This binder gets really full and heavy fast. Hard to pick up when it is expanded. A closure and snap on the open end and a built-in handle on the binder would be ideal for it's intended handiness.
2) offering up refills with purchase would also make it more handy, instead of ordering separately on-line.
3) Lastly, the binder material is not as durable and waterproof as description would have you believe.

    Will be returning

Book includes pages such as: Address pages, pages to record payments to utilities, etc, children's school schedules, 7 lines devoted to repairs on each item, (wouldn't you replace it after that many repairs??), a page for driving instructions to your home, a painting log. Requires you to write in information you already have recorded elsewhere. No one has that much time to duplicate records. Best for folks with way too much time on their hands. Would have been much better with pockets for categories to store records in one place. Not thought out well for today's busy lifestyle.

    EXCELLENT!!

This binder is a wonderful way to keep your entire life organized. It does take a little time in the beginning to get all the information entered, but this is something you could keep forever. Great value for the price as well. Excellent!

Your entire busy life--all in one binder

Everything you need to organize your entire life from children's schedules, to finances, to medical records is in this binder. It comes with dual-pocket folders in each section and business card holders and a zippered pouch in the back for other items. The 3-ring design makes it very customizable so you can add/remove things to adjust the book to your own needs. Yes, if you use the pages she includes, you might have to copy information from the many other places you currently keep them. But that's the point--to get everything in one place so you don't have to hunt all over to find what you need. I went from sticky notes and file folders everywhere to this single binder. It's wonderfully practical!

    no organizer

not one of the best one's out there. The ring binder is very difficult to move pages over. No portability. I have yet to find any use for it

    Organizing Wizard

This book will really help me get organized. I can see how this is going to save me alot of time - having all the information I need in one place. I know I'm going to get many years of use from this book. I wish the binder were a bit more sturdy since the book is fairly heavy. This is definately good value for the money.
