This is the best Tiffany calendar I've found in years. The pictures are beautiful, and ones I haven't seen before. Not to mention the addition of glitter that makes the calendar look even better. I also like how the first week of the next month is shown at the end of the current month. It's rare for me to keep the pictures from a calendar to put up on the wall, but I definitely will with this one! Highly recommended, I hope B&N has it next year too.Was this review helpful? This calendar has bright Tiffany designs for each month with a brief notation about the piece. There is also some glitter detail on the design for each month. It's pretty, it's bright, it's a calendar. How bad could it be?Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I've been buying a calendar featuring the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany for several years now, and I was foolish to assume this particular calendar was one of those quality products I've so enjoyed in the past.

Imagine my dismay to discover that every illustration of a Tiffany leaded glass window has been "enhanced" with the addition of glitter to the surface of each and every photograph, including the cover. Typically, some idiot decided that the lead caming between the pieces of glass in the window should have gold glitter glued onto it.

Now, honestly, when I'm wanting to take in the beauty of how one of L.C. Tiffany's art objects looks, I don't want to be distracted by the sheer tackiness of glitter added to the experience. Tiffany didn't put effing glitter on his windows, now did he?

I have to wonder what six-year-old mentality decided this calendar should be "improved" by the addition of glitter. What a piece of shlock this calendar is compared to one produced by Pomegranate Communications, Inc.

If want you want are twelve beautiful glossy color photographs of Tiffany windows showing off their innate beauty and Tiffany's genius, don't buy this calendar. Apparently, while you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, it's not so hard to do the opposite.
