Meet the Author

Dick Morris served as Bill Clinton's political consultant for twenty years. A regular political commentator on Fox News, he is the author of ten New York Times bestsellers (all with Eileen McGann) and one Washington Post bestseller.

Eileen McGann is an attorney who, with her husband, Dick, writes columns for the New York Post and for their website, dickmorris.com. She has written extensively about the abuses of Congress and the need for reform.

"2010 taking america back" is a blueprint for the american voter. dick morris new best seller is a battle plan for everyone who is frustrated with their politicans and candidates and jobs and cant seem to make a difference with there elected officials and want to make a change with their community and their state and their goverment . this book has great ideas to show the citizen how they can get america changed for the better and get some of the people out of office who are not doing a good job and running this country down. great gift idea for family and friends

Dick Morris was a Democratic strategist who helped Bill Clinton get elected twice. He became disillusioned by both President and First Lady, and horrified by the ways of the Democratic Party, and has joined the fight to get conservative Republicans elected wherever possible, and ANY Republican elected where there is no conservative available, since the congressional majorities determine who gets to be Speaker, who gets to hand out committee chairmanships, and whose legislation comes up for a vote. Morris and presents a sober analysis of what seats are likely to be in play, why the incumbants do or (usually) don't deserve to keep them, who the likely challengers are, and on what lines to campaign. Morris and McGann also pass along his hard-earned wisdom of how to frame campaign issues and how to reply agressively and effectively to campaign ads that distort a candidate's record. And he warns that candidates and their staffs MUST anticipate such attacks and have clear, truthful replies ready ahead of time. He shows how to carry the campaign into cyberspace, and contrasts effective and ineffective use of the media. This is certainly a book for those involved in political campaigns at any level. It is HIGHLY topical. History will tell whether the advice in the latter part has enduring value, and how much, and it will be interesting, at least, to compare the outcome of the 10/2010 elections with the prognostications of Morris and McGann.
